Below we list those committee meetings scheduled for the week ahead that will be open to virtual observation by members of the public. Closed session committee meetings will also be held. Monday 27th September at 10 am

Public Accounts Committee: Briefing from the Evangelical Fellowship of Zimbabwe on the 2019 Auditor General’s Report.

Portfolio Committee: Energy and Power: Oral evidence from Petrotrade Board on strategies being put in place to improve the performance of Petrotrade.

Wednesday 29th September at 10 am

Portfolio Committee: Lands, Agriculture, Water, Fisheries and Rural Resettlement: Oral evidence from ZINWA regarding Tender No. ZINWA/GOO/200/14 for Prepaid Water Meters entered between ZINWA and various companies. [See also meeting scheduled for Thursday morning.]

Thursday 30th September at 10 am

Portfolio Committee: Lands, Agriculture, Water, Fisheries and Rural Resettlement: Oral evidence from Statewave Technologies, Helcraw Electrical, Finmark Energy on procedures followed on procurement of water meters. [See also meeting scheduled for Wednesday morning.]

Portfolio Committee: Information, Media and Broadcasting Services: Oral evidence from the Ministry of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services, BAZ, TRANSMEDIA and ZBC on the Zimbabwe Digital Migration Project.

Friday 1st October at 10 am

Public Accounts Committee: Sub-committee on Local Authorities’ Accounts

Oral evidence on issues raised in 2019 Auditor General’s Report from the following Local Authorities:

  • Chitungwiza Municipality;
  • Marondera Municipality; and
  • Chinhoyi Municipality.
