Open committee meetings Monday 19th July

Only three committee meetings will be in “open session” this coming week, as listed below. [There is a chance that there will be one more later in the week – see note Postponed Meeting at the end of this bulletin.] All meetings will be virtual on the zoom platform. Postponed Meeting

The open session meeting of the Portfolio Committee on Defence, Home Affairs and Security Services scheduled for Monday morning has been postponed to a later day this week, still to be decided. The meeting is due to hear oral evidence from the Ministry of Home Affairs and Cultural Heritage on the Police Amendment Bill [link]. [We shall notify the date and time of the rescheduled meeting in a separate bulletin.]
