ARTUZ’s Invoice to Finance Minister Mthuli Ncube

The Amalgamated Rural Teachers Union of Zimbabwe (ARTUZ) has prepared an invoice for the Finance Minister to settle examination fees for all 2021 primary, secondary and high school candidates. ARTUZ maintains that with the country’s budget surplus and improved revenue flow, as presented by the Minister of Finance, the nation can foot this bill. “Fifty percent of our candidates risk failing to sit for exams if the government does not pay up. Government is mandated to pay in section 75 of the constitution and Mnangagwa’s government pledged free education” says ARTUZ.
