/We the People of Zimbabwe (WTPZ) has set up a structure of peace monitors, in which 11,000+ citizen monitors across every province in the country are currently tracking and reporting incidents in their communities through the WTPZ call center.
Between midnight and midday of the 30th of July, the We the People call centre received 77 calls reporting election-related violations. 17 of these calls reported were that “all is well” or reported issues which are not violations, such as long queues.
Between midnight and midday, 60 calls with violations were recorded.
