Call Centre Daily Report: 28 July 2018

/Incidents reports

Reports were made for 81 people who interacted with the call centre. A total of 107 violations were reported, impacting both individuals and communities as a whole.

Incidents of particular concern

It is of particular concern where violence has broken out, as well as reports which involve the interference or inaction of the state. On July 28 it was reported that there were two acts of violence in Mashonaland West areas near Chinhoyi at Musini Village (Muroyi Primary School) and Alaska mine, as well as one violent incident in Nyatsime in Chitungwiza. Police were reported not to act in both violence cases in Mashonaland West area, as well as in incidents in Gokwe Center, Murewa and Kwekwe.
